On 3 January 2012 it was announced that Bornerups Datacenter A/S, an IT company based in North Jutland, had acquired all shares of Datek A/S, an IT supplier of ERP-solutions to small and medium-sized businesses in the Metropolitan area of Copenhagen.

It is the intention to merge the two companies with Bornerups Datacenter A/S as the continuing entity. The combined business will focus on sales, support and development within Microsoft C5 and CRM.
