Trustpilot raises EUR 3.3m in funding

Trustpilot, an Århus-based startup that provides tools for customers to assess the reliability of e-commerce sites, has secured EUR 3.3m in investments from Northzone Ventures and SEED Capital Denmark.

The purpose of Trustpilot is to provide customers with a comprehensive source of relevant, up-to-date information of internet retailers, enabling consumers to make informed choices. Although originating from Denmark, Trustpilot is available in 13 other countries, among these the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany.

According to Peter H. Mühlmann, CEO of Trustpilot, the new funds will be used to scale internationally so that Trustpilot can become “the most powerful global player in the market for online user reviews of online shopping”.
