Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, today announced that it has acquired Danish software company 7-Technologies (7T).

7T specializes in software solutions to manage and monitor industrial processes, particularly within the water supply, wastewater, district heating and cooling area.

The details of the deal are undisclosed, but the price paid by Schneider Electric is said to be in the two-digit million DKK number. 7T shares was owned by the CEO and founder Jens Løppenthien with 21 %, Greystone Capital with 64 % and the rest by present and former employees.
