The person who wrote this on a wall close to where I work obviously put a lot of effort in it. Let alone aligning and justifying the letters requires skills. But sometimes I am reminded that a work does not become art by mere publication, and in an age where everybody has the means to publish in particular on the net, we are not guaranteed more good art. As Bruce Sterling has put it somewhere the net is so much full of electronic folklore which is not the same as art.
