I was quoted in this article in Danish online magazine Advarsel mod øget overvågning af private as accepting more electronic surveillance of public spaces to promote transparency and to help solve crimes. My points are heavily influenced by David Brin‘s ideas in his book The Transparent Society. I believe in the democratization of surveillance of public spaces (“sousveillance”) by giving all citizens access to such data feeds and in the need to further protect privacy in the private sphere for instance in communication by e-mail or by phone.
