After spending a day off around the Stanford campus Monday I have relocated to the old historic (as the Americans seem to regard everything more than 100 years old) hotel The Westin St. Francis at Union Square in the center of San Francisco to participate in the Open Source Business Conference.
The Open Source Business Conference 2004 (OSBC 2004) is
The Open Source Business Conference (“OSBC”) is the only concerted effort to address and answer the question of how to build a business around OSS. Over the course of the two-day conference, attendees will interact with the brightest thinkers and most innovative practitioners in open source business today. Attendees will leave with both a deeper appreciation of the voids remaining in the OSS arsenal, and a fuller understanding of how to resolve these gaps to build sustainable, higher-margin OSS businesses.
According to the people responsible for the conference more than 700 people are going to participate!
